      It all sucks, but the event!!! Training sucks, tapering sucks, recovery sucks!!! :) BUT the moment is worth all of the sucky parts.

    Decided to try an easy recovery swim to see how the body felt. Diaphram didn't feel too great at first but calmed down as long as I kept it nice and easy. Felt good to get back in the water.

    Luna needed a walk and so did I after having pizza and beer for dinner. Need to start working out again soon. Tried to do some core stuff but my sore diaphragm wasn't very agreeable.

      HOLY CRAP! I literally got wide-eyed when I saw your run time. That's faster than my Half PR ... and I only ran mine! :-) Anyway, you already know how completely freaking amazing I think you are. I loved reading this. Got a little teary at the end! It's been my absolute privilege to be your DM friend since pretty much when I first joined 3.5 years ago. I've watched you endure so many lows and crush so many highs, it's just so rewarding.       Amy, I thought I was, too, or at least close to it. I forgot to hit "lap" on my garmin after the swim so while it recorded total distance, it didn't give me splits or an average, so I had no idea how fast or slow I was going on the run during it. Also, my time includes the extra I did. The "official" time is 9:05 pace. :)
