    Just work 00:15:00

I started making myself do core work at least four times a week, even if I don't always log, about two months ago. Apparently it is paying off bc I went to buy a new pair of jeans yesterday in... read more

Liking this weather 4 mi 00:33 08:08 pace

Thank you, drizzle and warmer temps for returning. I was really over the dry, icky, windy, cold freakin' weather. Just a quick one, going to the JT concert tonight, woo hoo!!!!

  6. swim
    The pool 1800 m 00:45 40:14 pace

Wow...someone was a super slow swimmer today. Kick drills are so not my thing, which is why I need to do more of them. Started out with 800 meter warmup, then 350 of the kick drills and 11, 50 mete... read more

Yep, kicks are brutal and slow. I hate them to! Great work in the pool - it will pay off!

Christine, my feet often start to cramp when I do them, and I literally have to stop and massage my arches. Does this ever happen to you?

  7. RUN
Squeezed it in 5 mi 00:42 08:24 pace

Woke up feeling icky and sick so I skipped running in the a.m. Since I had appointments and meetings tonight, squeezed this in between work and that. Not ideal in any sense but better than nothing.

    Couldn't resist 4 mi 00:36 08:54 pace

Yeah, my hip is paying the price, especially since I was running in sand but how often is it 50, sunny and no wind at the beach in November????

  11. RUN
    Obstacle course! 5 mi 00:42 08:24 pace

Went for an "easy" trail run that was more of an obstacle course with downed trees and ice patches all over the place. Pace was pretty off as a result. Only saw 3 other people on the trai... read more

Sounds like a heck of a workout, like a Spartan run. Still a great pace.

    Arms, core, hips, back 00:30

Getting that six pack abs...of course the FOUR homemade chocolate chip cookies I stuffed my face with later in the day probably negated that very fast.

Easy spin to flush the legs 13.4 mi 01:00 13.4mph pace

I guess the hard running two days in a row after four days of not running wiped out the legs, because I could not maintain a decent pace on the trainer today to save my life. Just decided to roll w... read more

Run with Laura in high winds! 6.5 mi 00:55 08:27 pace

This is how much we hate the treadmill: Despite the frigid (for us) temps with the wind chill factor, and wind gusts up to 65 mph, Laura and I still opted to run outdoors as opposed to indoors. I d... read more

    Power went out... 1700 m 00:42 39:45 pace

I'm just hoping we don't lose power these next few days... Great job multitasking some swimming with your out-of-the-house shower. :-)
