I would like to improve on my triathlon times in the Oly and half IM distances, and maybe get some master's wins in running events. Train positive!

  1. RUN
Tired, but felt good! 6.75 mi 01:00 08:53 pace

All of the tri training is starting to wear me down a bit, so when the alarm went off this a.m., the last thing I felt like doing was going for a run. But, other than not feeling like it, there was... read more

  2. swim
    The pool 1750 m 00:45 41:22 pace

The time isn't very precise, bc I took breaks and helped a friend learn how to swim, and didn't wear a watch, but still managed to get in a 1,000 meter progressive warm up, 200 meter back... read more

  3. RUN
    Brick! 3 mi 00:27 08:50 pace

Ok, that was hard. Felt like a shuffle and 95 degrees was stifling. Where was the wind when I needed it?

  4. VELO
Hills in the heat 25 mi 01:40 15.0mph pace

Not very fast, but with the wind, seat issues and heat, I will take it.

  5. RUN
    Part 2 run 3 mi 00:26 08:39 pace

Run 2 of the day at sunset. Beautiful!

  6. RUN
Easy shake out 4 mi 00:34 08:30 pace

Did this in the a.m. before work. Legs are sore from laying down a 6:45 for my last mile at rhe oly du Sunday.

  7. swim
    Post race struggle 2300 m 00:52 36:23 pace

I am just exhausted after working all weekend, racing Sunday and then working 10 hours today. Really struggled mentally with this open water swim and was very slow, but got it done.

  8. RUN
    Part 3 6.2 mi 00:46 07:27 pace

Got second female finisher overall! Woo hoo!

  9. RUN
    First du, part 1 3.1 mi 00:22 07:05 pace

Wasn't sure how to pace this, but felt good.

  10. RUN
    4 mi 00:36 09:00 pace

    Slow in the heat!

  11. VELO
    25.54 mi 01:45 14.6mph pace

    Lots of hills!

  12. FIT

    Been slacking this week!

  13. RUN
Body is done 3.25 mi 00:30 09:13 pace

Decided to give myself a break from heat training and headed for the trails. However, it isn't a super easy trail like Heritage. My body is starting to get worn out from all the training.

  14. RUN
Part three of brick 3 mi 00:26 08:36 pace

Surprisingly, this was faster than the first run. I enjoyed it far less though. Not sure about the whole run bike run thing...guess we will find out Sunday!

  15. VELO
Part two of the brick 20.1 mi 01:17 15.7mph pace

Rode some pretty good hills on this one. Despite having to clip/unclip quite frequently when I hit city traffic, managed to keep a decent pace.
