After being so sick with meningitis I really wasn't ready for this swim. It really ate my lunch! I'll get it next year though.

great NashVegas Triathlon 26 mi 01:34 16.6mph pace
I was really pleased with my ride. I didn't really push it much, as I just got over being really sick, but feel like everything turned out well on the ride. It was a nice rolling hill route.

great NashVegas Tri 6.2 mi 01:05 10:29 pace
This run was awesome. The trails from miles 3-5 were awesome. It could have been a 100degree day and we would have never known on these trails.

Transition for the NashVegas Triathlon today in Ashland City, TN. It was a first year race, but Start2Finish put on a great race! Can't wait for next year!

Thx! Hey Morey, what kind did you put on? You better get some riding in these two weeks to get used to them. Race how you train, is what I've always been told. Good luck on your race. Let me know how it goes!

I just started my hunt for a new bike. Will be my first real bike. What makes you love the Giant TCR1?

First of all, congrats! What I love most about it is that it FITS me perfect. Make sure you get sized at a bike shop. Mine is a 54. Also, it's light weight and climbs hills very well. It's aluminum, so it was more affordable, but sturdy as well. There are always a few upgrades I'd like to do, but if I never did anything to it, I'd be fine. Giant makes an all around well built bike.

The summit of a massive hill I ride by my house here in Tennessee. The sunrise always makes it worth the climb.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Yes, this view is one of my favorites. If you ever want to see it just check out my Nolensville Elementary Route. It's at the summit of the 1st major hill within the first 5 miles of the ride. You'll know it when you get there. Glad you liked the pic! Of course I touched it up a bit, but yes, it's still stunning in person :-)

I lost pace cause we got rained on pretty much the last half and a hard rain. Felt nice, but was mostly focused on getting home. Rode with good friends!

Nice miles. Riding in the rain makes you 50% more BA....and it's fun too. =)

Helped a buddy recover from his TRI yesterday. Had a fun ride with some great hills. It's amazing what fried foods will make you feel like even on a slow ride the next day. Yuck!

This is my chance to really make a difference in someone's life through the triathlon circuit and you can be right there along side me! Check this out!!! http://bit.ly/pWi5gt

Great concept Daniel, I will definitely be back to help out. This is a great way to support a charity of your choosing. Let's face it most of us do races through out the year that support some organization or another... and that's great. But this way you are more in control. Love this idea!

Thanks so much Lisa! Yes, that's what I love about this community the most. There are so many athletes that totally understand the importance of "training and racing beyond yourself"
Thanks for the support Lisa!!! You're awesome
