    Not bad for not training. Still disappointed that I ran it 12 minutes faster last year. Oh well. I finished and it was for a great cause!

    Great run, but freeeeeezing! Forgot my garmin so I had no way of pacing myself, but guess it was for the best because it was my first sub 9min pace in a race!

      how do you pace yourself without a garmin??? i don't have one

      You have an iTouch though right? You could get the Nike +. It's $20 versus the $400 I spent on my garmin. It's not as accurate sometimes and doesn't have all the extra features but serves it's purpose for a fraction of the cost.

    It felt amazing. I didn't want to over-do it, so I only ran a mile, but I was pleased with the pace after a 8 weeks of no running! Glad to be back at it!
