    Terrible run this morning! Really dragging the whole way then ran/walked over the last 4 miles or so. Oh well, it happens and there is always tomorrow's run which it bound to be better.

      Beautiful. The up and down along the Mall is part of the Marine Corps route. Wish I'd been able to enjoy it more, even in pain, it was an amazing strip of road.

    Clear skies today, still breezy. The first 3 miles or so were kind of a struggle for me this morning. The last 3 miles were much better.

    Cool, drizzly, windy morning in the capital. I ran the first three miles with alternate easy mile, mile at about 75% effort, then easy mile. Ran the last three miles at about 75 - 80% effort.

    Alternated miles at about 75% effort with easy recovery miles. Wanted to flirt with something in the LT range but the focus was really on getting in another 10 mile day.

      I meet with DRC on Saturdays 6 AM either near mockingbird/75 or at the White Rock lake. Without sounding like an ad for DRC, we have groups for different speeds and I am sure you will love running with the people and pace leaders.

      Thanks Chandra. I will definitely go. I am even a DRC member and didn't know about this. However, until May I am committed to taking my daughter to violin practice on Saturday mornings. She is a member of the Dallas Conservatory and they practice from 9 - 11. Once that is over though, I will join you guys!

    Relaxed mostly easy run on a balmy ~55 degree morning.

    Good level of effort throughout. Steady pace first and last two miles at about 70% effort. During middle six miles alternated miles of about 80% effort and 70% effort.

      Right, out on 380 and Stonebridge Drive. I run from near Eldorado and South Lake Forest.

      Well, miles first and speed later. However, as I get older the speed is later and later!

      Yes, it was great fun. I like that feeling of cruising along at a high level of effort. Now just got to be patient and let that pace come down.
