Tuesday run with Sports Basement. I think I finally did the Coastal Trail with sand ladder course correctly. Usually I take a wrong turn on the way back. Anyway, this run was especially tough today because I rode my bike from work to the Presidio and than home. The ride was about 12 miles and it may sound easy but since I'm not a biker yet, it was a lot tougher than I thought! Sand ladder was truly agonizing. I walked up the whole thing sand ladder and when I thought I was taking it too easy I felt my heart and noticed my heart was beating like crazy so even though I was walking I was working hard!! My breakdowns were: 9:04/11:56/12:03/14:13/9:37/(9:53 pace for last .56.
