I was hoping this would be the day I'd break 42 min for the 10k, but it was windy and my legs felt tired. I was haunted by the words of the wise Hugh, who said if you're over 30 you need 2 days to recover between Interval day and Tempo day. Lets see.. the week I took 2 rest days, I ran a 42:08, next week 1 rest day = 42:58, this week, 1 rest day = 43:13. Hmm...
