good Corte Madera Rdg / King Mtn /... 21.53 km 02:26 10:55 pace

As far as trail running in Marin, most people think of Mt Tam or the Headlands, but there's a strip of land between the mtn and Hwy 101 with miles of trails. Hugh and I hit many of them today ... read more

I was a little skeptical when I first saw the route but there are some gem trails tucked in here. What mile mark was the outcropping with the plaque?

@Paul, thanks. No, my legs don't like the 2D course -- my leg muscles fatigue before I get to the end, so while I can run it, there's not much point in trying to race it until I improve my fitness.

I heard them talking about a guy who had taken a header and split his noggin'. Pull of the FB later and there was a pic of him with my friend Kathy. Looks like the 101s kept you honest.

Can you send me that photo. Yeah, he was bad. He was coming back down Dynamite when I was coming up, drenched in blood, with blood spurting from the top of his head. He kept trying to assure people he was OK and everyone was going "No, you're NOT OK!" Heard he went to Marin General.

Yeah, wore MT101s and no socks to save a bit of weight! Worked well, didn't fall in the mud.
