Tuck your loops in!! Just a word of warning from the now wise...make sure you tuck your shoelace loops into your shoes if they're long. I was making the turnaround at 2 miles, and picked up a pretty hard pace. Soon after, my toe got caught into the opposite foot's shoelace loop and I went down HARD! I'm all scraped up and was bleeding, but had to pick myself up and keep going. The running felt great, but it stung bad.
