Got back in the pool after lifting and had a good swim! I started out doing some drills and was getting out of breath and frustrated quickly... but then I decided to just try to relax and just swim. That worked a whole lot better for me. I think I need to work on just swimming for a while, to get more comfortable with it. No pool toys! The kickboard, fins, and (especially) the pull buoy are not in my gym bag now. I fall into the habit of using the pull buoy as a crutch if I am not careful.
