RUN
good Bear Swamp Rd. 3.1 mi 00:31 09:58 pace
Sunny and 34ºF. Well, partly sunny and not very windy. Had to run on the road to keep out of the slush. Luckily all the motorists give me a wide berth.
-
Somewhat cooler at your place than mine! You are way more dedicated than me....I tend to bail when it gets really cold and go with the treadmill!

RUN
great 3.1 mi 00:29 09:13 pace
Snowy but clear roads. Got it done before dark though. My tights were in the laundry so a bit nippy on my bare thighs, but it motivated me.

Nice Job:
That sounds so weird.....it is an perfect summer's day here!

Yeah, I've been working on my dissertation, and finding it hard to get outside with the short days. I did some pushups after this run so it counts double. maybe. I'm scheduled to defend my dissertation in February so should be running more then.

Light rain no wind. A little dark for the afternoon, wore a head lamp and carried a blinky from my bike. I need some conspicuity gear for this winter when the sun hides behind clouds all day. Too l... read more

RUN
good Bear Swamp 3.1 mi 00:28 09:09 pace
My weekly run, too busy, too dark, etc etc. At least I got out there and I even did 90 push ups when I finished. (Not all at once.)

RUN
good Bear swamp 3.1 mi 00:30 09:40 pace

Started a push-up program!
Yesterday I did a series of push ups. 50 in all. Now I'm sore. I'm following an app on my ipod. Supposed to be able to do 100 in a row when I'm done.
-
Woo hoo!! 50 pushups for the first day.....no wonder your sore.....but think how strong you will be at the end of the program. It will help your running as well :)

RUN
good Bear Swamp 3.1 mi 00:28 09:08 pace
Snowed on me but still an enjoyable run. I'm having trouble fitting runs in, but doing my best.
Also, instead of push ups I removed the transaxle from my '71 VW beetle. Lots of rusty bolt... read more-
running in the snow...that sounds divine..although a little cold. I see you are finding as many ways as possible to avoid the pushups!!! Imagine how much easier they would have come undone if you had been doing push ups regularly!

Leave it to you to find a way to motivate me. Ok, I'm going to join a push-up challenge online. I'll let you know how it goes. :-)

That's great news. I can hardly come and stand over you and demand push ups form the other side of the world! Is that one of the community challenges on DM?

Atlanta, GA. Downtown to Pied... 6 mi 01:03 10:33 pace

Ah.....this is where you have been!! I read the other post first! Biomedical engineering conference...sounds rather fascinating but very mind demanding! What is your actual job that requires you to attend such a conference?....if you don't mind me asking....

Just down the road a bit 2.02 mi 00:18 08:49 pace
I thought I'd go for a morning run for once. What a horrible idea. Not a morning runner I guess. Did not enjoy that one bit. Just did not feel good. Oh well, at least I got out there.
-
I am not an early morning runner either! I need breakfast and a cuppa and then time to pscych myself into it! I do agree though that at least you got out there and did it :)

great hilly loop 8 mi 01:15 09:25 pace
Haven't been running much, too much work and school, and the kitchen roof needed reshingling. (that count as a work out BTW). So I was psyched that this run went so well. 9:34, 9:20, 9:25, 10:... read more

Great pace for hills! It's very ordinary when life gets in the way training. But it may also have given your body a good rest hence the great run!

good 3.1 mi 00:27 08:40 pace

Why did you change back to your old shoes? Sounds like it might be time for a good massage to help tired legs recover :) Still a solid run pace over a good distance :)
