    Knee felt good until after mile 3. At mile 5 decided to switch into Vibrams, which reduced the pain. Will be using my vibrams for the rest of my training.

      The knee pain comes every time I run and noticed that it gets worse when I extend my leg so I must be landing on my heel. Once I switched to my vibrams I noticed the pain wasn't as bad. I have been using my vibrams for treadmill training, running no more than 5 miles. I don't think I have runner's knee, but you should try it out. Let me know how it goes? :)

    Start of run was horrible and didn't feel good. Second half of run went way too hard, which is no bueno for my long run.

    Thursday are my easy runs and today I felt good. My right shin was bothering me just a little but not to worried; iced and stretched a little when I got home. Love my new hot pink Zensah shin sleeves!

      Don't forget the ibuprofen, hope your shin doesn't turn into an issue.
