Last long run before the Med City Marathon. Felt good. Great day for a long run :)

  2. RUN
great Out and back from the house 3.12 mi

Went for absolutely stunning rain run. Nothing like the feel and smell of a spring downpour to revitalize your soul. Can't wait for my long run on Sunday!

Mmm, I'm yet to experience my first spring run in a warm rain this season. Makes for an incredibly refreshing outing!

great Afton State Park 12.51 mi 02:52 13:43 pace

Beautiful run at Afton. Not quite as trouble free as I would have liked given there were more trees down since last Saturday. Bushwhacking in running shorts is not really the most enjoyable thing... read more

Hopefully the last rain/sleet/snow run of the spring *knock on wood*. Two laps around Mt. Normandale Lake, battling with the elements and the belligerent geese. Good run overall, but I can't... read more

Fast half marathon pace in the falling rain/sleet/snow. Perfect weather for a nice fast run.

great Afton State Park 11.2 mi

Beautiful day. Trails were clear and not very muddy. Lots of fallen trees on the trail, made for some fun bushwhacking.

I want some of that! I had a real trail running fiasco over the weekend with all kinds of mess to deal with, but it was still fun.

Since I haven't really ran on trails since last fall, it was a real eye opener. Man am I sore today. Don't think I will be signing up for a road marathon again anytime soon. Trails are where its at :)

    Beat the rain. Woo-hoo!

  8. RUN
great Through neighborhood to N. St... 20.05 mi 03:47 11:18 pace

Sidewalks were terrible (guess everyone has given up shoveling for the year), but made to the Gateway Trail which was wonderful :) Felt really strong up until mile 15. Sun was my constant compani... read more

Thinking about the tragedy that occurred yesterday in Boston, so I ran this one faster than normal. Thanks Greg P. for showing me how it should be done. I am really glad to be a runner and my tho... read more

  10. RUN
great Minnehaha and Back 2.07 mi

Probably one of my fastest runs this year. Boston was on my mind :(

  11. RUN
good Out and back to North St. Paul 10.11 mi 02:03 12:11 pace

This spring has been tough. Just don't seem to have the get up and go that I would like at this point in my training. Thinking the lack of trail running has something to do with it.

  12. RUN
great Run around Beaver Lake 3.22 mi 00:30 09:18 pace

Awesome pre-rain/sleet/snow run. Been awhile since I have done this route and it was a welcome change.

  13. RUN
blah 10 mi OAB 10.5 mi

Super sluggish run. Don't know what the deal was but I just couldn't get going or sustain a respectable pace.

  14. RUN
great Normandale Lake 3.35 mi 00:35 10:17 pace

Wonderful lunch time run before the snow started.
