Any advice..!!! I'm in the market for a new Garmin. I've mostly ridden on my bike but on the other side I think that I'm able to run even it's once in a blue moon :)) So depending on all thoughts Garmin Forerunner 310XT seems better for me. I'm not interested in the last version which is 910. I'm not a swimmer as well...
Any advice where to buy 310XT...???

abi sen koşucu değilsin bisikletçisin al gitsin garmin edge 500 ü işte. 800 de var ama çok pahalı ve ağır.

Yalniz 910'un tek farki yuzme degil. Hem gps hizi, hem de baska ozellikleri de var. Mesela egim gosteriyo ki, bence cok gussel bi ozellik.

abi kişisel düşüncem az fiyat farkı ile buluyorsan 910 al gps alışı çok iyi ve çok kibar saat diğerleri takoz gibi(kimse alınmasın bende 305 kullandım). en uygun ebay de bulursun diye düşünüyorum.

I use my iPhone for all my data recording and then a basic Polar for pulse and a cheap bicycle computer for speed when I bike...

I would say you will be also happy with FR305, but if you think 10hrs. battery life is not enough & you prefer wireless data transfer, then 301XT is the best choice. You need also wireless speed/cad. sensor, its a great accessory.

Garmin 500 is 15gr. lighter & has bigger display, has barometric altimeter, but you cannot run with it :) Battery life is 2hrs. shorter than FR310XT & water resistance is limited to IPX7 standard (which is quite good, even for swimming). 310XT is 50M water resistant.

Merhaba, yaklaşık 3 haftadır 910 kullanıyorum. 910 almak için yüzücü olmanız gerekmiyor. Bisiklet ve koşu yapıyorsunuz sıcaklık göstergesi dışında tüm verileri ekranda görebiliyorsunuz.

Bisiklet için kesinlikle edge500. 8 alana kadar bölebiliyorsun ekranı. Yolda herşey gözünün önünde oluyor.

I use the Edge 500, it does everything I need it to in a compact unit, is compatible with most power meters and has gps. If you want route finding just load a course onto the unit and that works fine as well. I've never needed a 705 or 800 and we always seem to get lost when using them

8 alana bölünmesi iyi bir özellikmiş, ben de hep 5 alana ihtiyaç duyup birinden feragat ediyorum. Ama sık bakmaya ihtiyaç duymadıklarımı 2.3. ekranlara koyup aralarında gezinebiliyorum. 310XT powermeter uyumlu, 305 değil. Rota yükleme 305 ve 310XT'de de var.

I appreciate all your suggestions... obviously there are many pros and cons no matter I buy. I'm happy with my Polar but only one thing bothers me that its an external huge GPS device. 310XT still outweighs than the others. Again thank you guys.... :)

I have the 405cx, which is okay, but the battery doesn't last too long. That's partially my fault, because I always kept it charged (better to let the battery run out before re-charging), but it can't even stay alive for three hours. I would definitely get the 910 -- I'll take it if you don't want it :-)
