It felt good to run not in the heat and not while hungry. I could have run faster but was saving energy to clean the house and get other stuff done.

You're doing amazingly well. I used to run a half mile in 3 minutes - but that was it. Never improved on it. For 5K, I don't think I have ever been below 10 minutes.
