Does anyone else seem to run a better pace on the trail as compared to the treadmill? I've been doing my C25K training on the treadmill, but my time is always better on the local trail. Everyone tells me I should be able to go longer/faster on the treadmill because there are no hills, wind, etc. I find myself watching the time and distance when I'm on the the treadmill, (I cover the info with a towel, but can't help but peek), then I feel like I get winded faster. Yes, I guess I'm strange!! :-)

    It's probably because the treadmill is so tedious and outdoors is more enjoyable.

    I don't know. I'm just using the treadmill right now. I'm a stay at home mom, and I don't have much time to myself to get out at the moment. I watch the clock a lot when I'm on the treadmill too. :/

    I think there's more to look at outside. I tend to enjoy those runs the best too!
