First swimming workout, ever! I started my swim workout with a few warmups including making large circles with my legs while standing (in both directions, two sets). I also swam a full lap, and it was definitely harder than I thought.

I started swimming 2 years ago. Trust me, it gets easier. One lap at at time, you will build up your endurance and lung capacity. Great job on getting in the water and trying something new.

@Jackie, it was new. I do have a question, since my pool is apparently 12yd's do I use the measurement of yards or meters when it comes to a pool? I do like how my "mileage" is recorded automatically.

Swimming is such a great workout and a great overall body workout! Nice job Christina!

Yards and meters are almost the same/interchangable. There are 1600 meters in a mile.

If your pool is in yards, then use that measurement. It will be easier for you to figure out and DM will configure it into miles. Nice workout!

@Alicyn, swimming is a new workout to me. I think I'm going to google some warmup exercises other than the circles I can do in the pool. Actually, I thought the circle warmup would be "easier" but I learned that my right leg is definitely the dominate one.
