    One sweet wake up call. So, what? I started my day at 4:30am but at least my workout is in for the day (and maybe the week). I'm so super tight, except I can't blame it on the weather.

    Long Run 8mi @ avg target 14:21 pace. It was a difficult run due to the humidity plus the midst of an autoimmune disorder attack on my joints. Why?! The marathon might be put on hold.

    Yes, let's unroll The Mat and get back to basics. I seriously needed this. I decided to skip the easy run entirely, and prepare my body to rock my long run Saturday. One great session tonight.

      @Linna, my body is so stiff due to medical stuff - ugh... not fun! I want to try and make Yoga a more consistent practice during training.

    SW 4mi: 1mi w/u, 2x1600m @ 12:00min/mile w. 800m jogs, 1mi c/d. The new lululemon tank I picked up passed the test, but speed work seriously kicked my ass. I couldn't keep up at all.

    Ugh, are you kidding me? The elliptical is like the death machine. I was bored out of my mind, but staying on the bike was a last resort. However, I wish it was a run day. I feel antsy.

    It's a day for cross training, but I wasn't at all excited. The weather is perfect and I don't want to be stuck inside. It was pretty boring, and the lack of eye candy was very lame.

    Easy Run 3mi @ avg target 14:21 pace. Getting back to training after a week absence due to medical reasons is easier said than done. Over all, I felt sluggish and very out of sync today.

    Tempo Run 5mi: 1mi warm up, 3mi @ avg target 12:47 pace; 1mi cool down. One awesome tempo run. It was like something clicked and despite the heat, I felt on Cloud 9 the whole time.

    It's pre-marathon training, yup! Easy Run 2mi @ avg target 14:24 pace. The gym was too hot, but it was a little too windy to run outside. The theme for training is smooth and steady pacing.

    Long Run 10mi @ avg target 13:30 pace. When the sun disappeared, so didn't my energy. The hills were unexpected, and it was hard to keep my pace consistent. No PR today, not even close.

    Easy Run 5mi @ avg target 12:30 pace. The purpose of today's run to stay limber. I do enjoy my long runs, but the aftermath is difficult sometimes. But, my legs feel like total cement.

    Long Run 8mi @ avg target 12:30 pace. It was an tough run. Keeping my pace smooth and consistent was key - and all that hills work is paying off. I felt strong the entire time. Hooray!
