Distance is an estimate since I just wanted to swim and not worry about counting laps. First time back in the water since early June. I have decided it is time to start getting much more serious about my training. After getting the Ironman training book on Saturday which is a 24 week training schedule broken up into 4 6 week blocks. Starting today I am starting the first block but I am going to do it twice just so I can be prepped and start it 100% after the 6 weeks. So today it was pool time. It felt really good to be in the water. I did not go crazy, I just kept is smooth and steady. Did the majority of the swim doing 50, 100, and 200 yard with 15 to 30 seconds rest. Arms did not feel super weak, but did not feel all that strong either. Definitely need much more pool time to get the swim endurance built up. For day one I cannot really complain though. Time to take the dogs for a short walk then go for a run. :)
