      A repeat is typically a set time or distance at a specific interval. A fartleks is playing with speed for a distance or time that you feel like. So, the first mile you may want to do a quarter mile at the first part of the mile at speed while the second mile you may want to do a different length at a different part of the mile. Does that make sense! Regardless, nice.m

      Yes, I thought I knew what is was but other than messing with the cool down I ran exactly what it called for...? The instructions did not mention varying the speed or distance. I guess I will the next time I see this one on the weekly schedule. Thanks for the explanation Barbara.

      When I do fartleks from a plan it usually has me doing speedwork somewhere in the middle of a mile for a short period of time. When I do them on my own....i will just run fast whenever I feel like it....no plan. Yours looks more like a repeat. Great job on the speed though!
