WTF Garmin map? I don't even know.

It's too incredibly hot outside, 94 degrees with a heat index of 102, and I-think-I'm-actually-under-water humidity. I reached a point where I t... read more

Hehe - maybe your Garmin overheated? Nice run though, in spite of the conditions!

      Nice Job:

Great job. You really have to make adjustments for the hotter than hell temperatures and the evil humidity. I think it's great that you got out there at all!

Kettlebell + bodyweight exercises again, managed to keep my form strong so I hopefully won't have any soreness but the good kind! I can't wait to get off these 12 hour shifts so I have t... read more

Short, slow "run" - 30s/1m run/walk intervals. It was 97 with somewhere near 70% humidity, after a thirteen hour work day + 1.5 hours of commuting. I think I'm going to go collapse... read more

Blah, that was utterly miserable. Just wasn't in the game mentally, and my lower back suddenly got very sore shortly before I left work, which made things less than fun. So I was pitiful and... read more

good Kettlebells and core work/bod... 00:45

Couldn't get away from the Small Ninja at all today to run, so kettlebell + core work, courtesy of FitDeck, which is always fun to mix things up. I'm still critically short on spoons and... read more

Still not feeling great physically, so I took it easyish today - half an hour of kettlebells and some bodyweight exercises, and lots of stretching. My legs are almost back to functional, so probab... read more

Since my run on Sunday in the Vibrams, my calves have been dramatically Too Short, which was an odd experience, despite all the stretching in the world. So I figured I'd take them out for a w... read more

Maybe the Vibrams need a slow break in time? Good 2 miles though!

When I first wore my Kinvara 2's last week, my calves were a little tight, too. I tend to sleep with my toes pointed which doesn't help since that means waking up with tight calves. I've been making a point to flex my feet to stretch my calves out. Hope your calves adjust soon!

That's right, one day at a time, one foot in front of the other. You'll get there! The gluten thing gets easier too, I've been gluten free for 5 years, and it's second nature now.

Ow. Breathing is fine, muscles are fine, but I'm feeling it in my bones. I'm almost too tired to function after, but hopefully that'll start getting better.
