good CrossFit Endurance 1 mi

Today was my first CrossFit Endurance workout (CrossFitEndurance.com). It was to sprint as fast as you can: 20 sec on / 20 sec off, 30 sec on / 30 sec off, 45 sec on / 45 sec off, 60 sec on / 60 sec off.

And do that three times.

I warmed up for .5 miles first.

This was my first time running full out like that in years (and years (and years)). (and years).

My legs got exhausted in a way that running long slow distance just does not give me. Even now they are still tired and rubbery.

It felt really good to run that fast -- until a jogger passed me while I was sprinting. Heh. He was in good shape, though. No doubt he was on his tenth mile that morning, though, and was starting to fade. Mother f***er.

But it was good. I felt good doing it. I was exhausted at the end (even though I did slack off on some of them).

Also it didn't take a lot of time, which is cool.
