NYE brought us wet, fluffy snow. Unfortunately, that means very icy sidewalks and trails. No way I was going to run outside in those conditions, so I took to the treadmill. Nearly two hours gets a bit boring. I tried watching 5 different movies, but either the sound was too low (on maximum volume) and/or the the screen was too dark to really see what was going on. The music in the gym was louder than usual - thwarting my movie watching plan. Next time, I'm going to try plugging my tab directly into the treadmill. Hopefully listening through the machine will increase the volume. It's a shot at least. :)
Also, my right knee has really been bothering me since my NYE PR. Perhaps I pushed a little too hard at the race...? It actually didn't feel too badly while running, so I think it was kind of good to push through the 10 miles today at a nice, slow pace.


I'm looking forward to the day when I am able to run 10 miles at any pace. Take care of that right knee...Good job.
