Goal:

I want to jog regularly to get my fitness levels up & increase energy levels- My goal is to run a 10km without dying & under 45 mins! :) before end of 2010!

    got cut short cos of works on mains on canal by King's Cross again. My left thigh wasn't hurting for 1st time in weeks, but my left hip was instead :(

    really lovely walk, brisk in places stopped to admire the view of London & investigating the "swimming ponds" :)

    started well, got stitch on way back :( and left thigh hurt more on 2nd half. I can't wait to be running this full distance without walking at all!

    Ok, started well only did a short one cos I'm short on time but glad I went out, better a 22min run than no run at all!

    pain in my left thigh still there, for no apparent reason. Pushed myself a bit & felt good, looking forward to being able to do this whole run without walking

    Got cut short again, this time building works temporarily closed the footpath, decided to turn back rather than wait. Pain in my left thigh is back :?

    I realised how dark it was getting & there were no lights along that stretch so had to turn back before it got pitch black! I'm brave, but not stupid!

    I could feel it in my lungs, nearly 2 weeks of pushing my body full out with the trainings I've been doing, averaging 5 hrs sleep a night takes its toll, glad I did the run though.

    noticed that my natural walking pace is 6km per hour and jogging pace 9km an hour, once I get fit 10km in under 50mins is definitely doable¬

    Fastest ever PACE! Wooooo Hooooo!!!! & a better time to run on Regents Canal, less tourist traffic, but still managed to have someone walk straight into me though- when I was walking!!

      Thanks getting there! Just maintaining consistency in jogging twice a week is key- my fitness will continue to increase & my times will get faster and faster and faster :) Wooo Hooo!
