Felt good to get this exercycling done - Guessing on the miles ridden, as the odometer seems to be faulty... But doesn't affect how much sweat I can generate!!!

The day started out slow with time DRAGGING - but once I got into a groove of walking and working it flew by! Thank you to my TrekDesk!

The interesting thing about this is that you actually burn more calories per mile at a slower speed. http://walking.about.com/library/cal/uccalc1.htm However, you can burn more calories overall at a higher speed, depending on how long you want to be at the treadmill. For example, I know that my available time to be on the treadmill is about four hours per day. If I walked 10 miles at 2 mph at my current weight, I would burn 966 calories, whereas at 2.5 miles per hour, I burn 927 calories over ten miles.

Thanks for pointing that out! The miles don't matter to me as much as the burn that I get from it...
