Awesome workout at the hotel gym in Florida...the plan was 5 miles with 3 at race pace. I warmed up in 9:30 and ran the next 3 at 8:41 even then cooled down. It always feels so easy doing my goal pace runs on a treadmill because I just have to run...I don't have to pay attention to clocking into a target pace. I know that defeats the purpose so it's very rare for me to do a pace workout on the treadmill but I wasn't about to go run 5 miles at 2:30pm in the Florida heat.
