Aim today was negative splits and to be steady rather than uber fast, traffic lights were kind and I could keep going through without much pauses. Miles one and two I tried to keep slow and steady with the intention of speeding up thoughout and making my last mile my quickest. Weather was wet and windy but really wanted to get out. First two miles at around 9 mins then slowly winding up, I fluctuated in parts but hope that a little more practise and discipline that'll come good. Really pleased with last miles pace and glad that I felt strong, I'm so used to blasting out then hanging on for dear life!
I stopped at 6 miles to take on a gel, then at mile 9 to get my head together for the last mile, still learning, but really enjoyed it today ;)
