great Early Snow Run On The Blue Ridge Parkway!! 8.7 mi 01:38 11:17 pace

Super cold,windy,& snowy run this morning ran a section of the Mountain To Sea Trail that on the now closed Blue Ridge Parkway due to snow.The temps. this morning were 22 degrees F with a 30 to 60 mph wind coming through the mtns today.Did I also say it was snowing there is about 3 or 4 inches here but driffs from the howling winds of the hurricane Sandy hitting the high mtns.Super morning jaunt today didn't see any people & only saw some deer in the distance.Awesome run love winter running got my winter kahtoola microspikes on to help with the trails my kind of fun.Going to do a split run today too so will come back later!!

    I was thinking of you yesterday and was betting you would have some great snowy pics to share with us! Awesome job getting out there. My parents in Athens, GA even lost power yesterday. Amazing how far-reaching this storm is. Enjoy your winter wonderland!

    Great run! I think the first snow run of the year is always the best. Although, I am hoping mine in Wisconsin will be a little later in the season yet. Glad yours was good.
