It was not about the distance or the pace, it was about honoring the passing of my mother 2 years ago. My son (who is 10) decided to run with me so I would not run a lone. During the course of the run, he said he loved me and "MeMe" (that is what the kids called her). At times he would pat me on my back to give me support. Jon and I have some amazing kids who hearts are filled with so much love! My mom left a strong mark on them. I miss her terribly but I know she is looking after us and smiling on her grandkids. Take a moment to hug the ones you love or pick up the phone to tell them. Time is precious - enjoy every minute! Take care my DM family!
