    Not bad for 3 weeks off! I had two goals for this morning: 1) go the distance and 2) if possible keep it under 45 minutes. Done and done!

    Didn't want to push the ankle too hard today. Wore my brace and went walking with Mom. It's pretty humid out but we got a few nice breezes along the way.

    Should have worn my ankle brace today. Did the loop in reverse today and it was funny how much longer it felt. It was a beautiful morning and I got my miles in. :)

      The mind is a funny thing! I mapped my run last night for today ... Drove it as it was in another town ... It was definately more than 4 miles in my driving estimation ... But running it was right on as per the map my run! Your running is going fantastically!!!! Keep an eye on that ankle - don't forget to ice it!!!!!

      YOu're doing great Christine! 6 miles is a rocking distance! Yeah, to start off with more walking than running is completely normal--you may even want to look up Galloway's methods as he talks a lot about running with walking as your main way to get the miles in. I'm so impressed with our progress! Btw, so sorry I couldn't come yesterday--we had plans to go to the fair with Russ's family...hope the party went well!

      6 miles is awesome. You are doing great. I think I did a lot more walking then running when I started running outside, I would play the marker game and every week try to go a little past each mark from the following week.
