Wow - you nailed a 23 mile run on the weekend of your 23rd birthday Christine. That is special and puts you in a great position to successfully complete NYC! The weather will likely be cooler and much humid in 8 weeks then it is in Orlando today and that will probably help you also. Have a happy birthday weekend and keep the good feeling from this run in your mind for a while.

This is a huge run Christine. You have every right to feel fantastic ... tired and jubilant. Completing your first strong 20 miler is an incredible achievement and the fact that felt strong when you finished is frosting on the celebratory cake! You definitely need to rehydrate big time and you will, no doubt, sleep well tonight. You earned it. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
