  1. I'm really excited. A new gym opened up not too far from my house, and it's only $10 a month with no commitment! I can see myself being there 4-5 days a week from now on.

I like outside, but I don't know what I would do without a good gym to go to. :)

It was really windy, but I finished it! I did walk more than run, but I was thrilled that I made it to the finish line! It did surprise me, though, watching some of the runners cut across the par... read more

      Nice Job:

Great job, and yes stop, look and enjoy. I know I'm timing my walks, but I take my camera with me and if I see something worth stopping for I do. I have some beautiful pictures of swans and the lake view. Its worth it and makes the walk more enjoyable.

Ohhh! That makes me really excited for Christmas lights! I didn't even think about that. I'll have to find a neighborhood to run in occasionally to get my holiday fix.

The kids kept stopping to look at the Christmas lights, and we had to stop early due to the need for a potty, but it was a great walk!

  8. Wish I was able to work out more, but with my clinical rotations, I'm finding it so hard to schedule. I get up at 5 am, and I work from 6:30 to 3 each day. At 3, I'm so tired that all I can manag... read more

The fact that you are still planing on doing it, is an accomplishment in itself. Just keep working at it. Make small goals, like taking the stairs or parking further away. Little changes make big differences. :)

great Walk Me Home to the Place Whe... 2 mi 00:45 22:30 pace

It was a looooooong 2 miles, because I was pulling my 3 kiddos in a wagon (they weigh about 125, and another 10 for the wagon), so I got quite the work out pulling them.

had planned to walk farther, but a restroom break and starting right next to a Panera bread stopped that. Gotta say...yummy bagel.

I'm glad to see your back on Dailymile! When I was finishing up my degree, I would take study breaks and exercise by doing pushups, situps, squats, lunges, and curling some dumbells. This will get your blood flowing, and help you stay awake! at least it worked for me. Stick with it, you're doing great!

I'm done with a majority of the coursework part of my degree, now I have a 12 week clinical, 6 weeks of classes to digest the clinical, and then a final clinical and I'm done!

great At the park 1 mi 00:45

I walked really slowly this morning with my 4 year old. She had to stop to chase ducks and play on the playground, so it took us forever, but we had such a nice morning, I wish it had lasted longer.

How sweet is that! I know I love walking with my 4yo granddaughter.
