  1. RUN
good Carmel Marathon 26.2 mi 05:01 11:29 pace

I FINISHED the Carmel Marathon!!! And, I almost didn't. I hit foot injury at mile 13, something that was bothering me since my last race, and thought the next medical station was going to pull... read more

  2. Gearing up for my first Full marathon tomorrow, the Carmel Marathon. I have a blue/yellow ribbon to wear. I'm running tomorrow for me, but also for all of us runners. Run happy everyone!

  3. RUN
    great 4 mi 00:43 10:39 pace

I share the heavy heart we runners have <3 Boston. A quiet, reflective, and slow 4 miles during taper, only a couple days to go until the Carmel Marathon.

  4. RUN
    great 4 mi 00:41 10:09 pace

Feeling really good during taper... I went out too fast on this one and had to slow it down. Taper makes me want to run faster, my legs are feeling so much fresher on week 2.

  5. RUN
    great 8 mi 01:24 10:27 pace

Just a really easy 8 miles during taper. One of those feel-good and happy runs :)

Me too ... I love how fresher my legs feel now. It's making me more adamant that I will never run a half during marathon training again. You don't get to taper for a race inside of another race training cycle.

    good 3.5 mi 00:36 10:21 pace

Just logging easy miles during taper...

  7. RUN
great Tempo Tuesday 3.1 mi 00:28 09:00 pace

Nailed my tempo run today perfectly! My tempo range for this marathon training cycle is 9:00-9:20 and I aimed to get today's on the faster end of the range. Happy running everyone!

  8. RUN
    good 4 mile recovery 4 mi 00:39 09:44 pace

Went a little faster than I should have on a recovery run. I didn't check my Garmin and just ran in a pace I fell into naturally.

  9. RUN
good Lincoln Presidential Half Mar... 13.2 mi 02:10 09:52 pace

This was not my race to PR in, however, I haven't been training to run a half these past couple months so I accept where I am with it. This was the hilliest race I've run and coming from ... read more

  10. RUN
    great 6 miles 6 mi 01:01 10:05 pace

A solid run and now two days rest before the Lincoln Presidential Half Marathon :)

  11. RUN
great Week 14 Marathon Training 6 mi 01:03 10:31 pace

A really great and easy run, just what the plan called for. Legs are feeling good after last week's 20 miler so I'm trying to keep positive thoughts that I will go into the race strong. I... read more

  13. RUN
    great 20 miles! 20 mi 03:29 10:28 pace

It was a really GOOD long run. And I will sleep well tonight :) Brooks Pure Flow 2s!!!

  14. #dailymission My goal was to run beyond a 5k and well into higher mileage safely and with enjoyment. I've definitely met those goals and now training for a full marathon.

  15. RUN
alright Treadmill Tempo Tuesday 6 mi 00:59 09:45 pace

Today was "Tempo Tuesday" and I needed 5 of these miles at a range of 9:00-9:20. I ran the first 3 at a 9:12 and was going fine, but a side stitch kicked in at mile 3 so I had to bring it... read more

Just a thought, Christina - I've found that side-stitches, more often than not, are a function of my breathing (or rather not breathing) more than they are something that I've eaten or that I've had to drink. Usually if I concentrate specifically on deep breathing in and out they go away sooner rather than later (I think that's why you see people raise their arms - expands their diaphragm). Awesome tempo. You'll be rocking that full!

  18. RUN
great 19 mile long run! 19 mi 03:23 10:40 pace

It was a cold run, the wind cutting through a lot of this run, but it went overall well. No ITB issues, fueling strategy is coming together - all in all solid :) TGIF!!!

  19. RUN
    good 4 miles w/out Garmin 4.1 mi 00:40 09:50 pace

My Garmin died :( We're trying all options known and Googled to bring it back, but nothing so far. *sigh* I ran today with my Timex and then mapped it on here. Coach had me slow down and skip... read more
