I don't remember hills being an issue when I was running in Iowa. We had them, some bigger than others (Brady street at the Bix 7...I'm looking at you!). Maybe it was because I was in my twenties then but "hills are apparently in the eyes of the beholder"... Don't look now but I believe my vision has improved.
