    Lifted moderate weights for both upper and lower body at home (in our basement which flooded on Thursday). Can you believe it didn't flood the weight bench...must be a sign...hee hee.

    I rode from my house to the Horse Creek TT and back home. It felt slow going out into the wind, but the ride back was fun! I'm still feeling very slow on my bike this year :-(

    I felt great doing the shorter distances, but the ladders (300 m) at a time were S L O W :-( Oh, well, I will get the endurance back a little at a time.

      My coach has been having me do one leg pedals and running up the gears. I start at lowest gear and go up one at a time and stay in each gear for one min. That's enough for me.

      It helps stroke efficiency. I'm supposed to try not to have a clunking sound (dead spot). I think it help to teach you not to mash the pedals.

    I rode into a cross wind and it changed direction on my a little bit on the way back. My legs felt strong, but the wind still bothers my lung capacity.
