      I so love that atmosphere as well, my husband tells me that I have "english tastes" not sure if that applies to weather as well :-) that chilly already? It's nice but not cold over here.       There are special boxing bandages. They don't cost much and they really add some extra stability to your hands. But it also depends on how hard the bag is, maybe you don't need them.

      Lol - the Geese are still around, although not many today - I think the festival has scared them off!! It isn't mating season so they're not very hissy these days (which is a good thing!). I saw the cows today too, and I still give them a little wave as I run past :)

      8:30 IS a sprint for me! Great job! It's funny you should mention your knee pain, as it sounds exactly like something that's been bugging me for a couple of weeks as I've upped my mileage, especially going up stairs. I've noticed that as I take a step up, it looks like my knee is rotating outward and there's a twinge under my patella in the middle--makes me think there's some muscle balance or stabilization problem? ITB stretch and roll is my plan for now.
