    felt good. was a little longer than i wanted, but got onto a trail i didn't recognize and just kept going. A nice day for a run though-- hot and sunny!

    felt good. trying to work on pacing better...even with the garmin i go from 7:30s to 9:30s...bizzare. is there a better way than just running on a treadmill to work on pacing?

      Chelsey, just make sure that you're looking at a "smoothed" pace on your Garmin - you probably don't have that much variation...

      You can set most garmin watches to beep at you when your pace falls outside of a certain range. Another way is to use a friend who can hold a more consistent pace as a pacer.

      I work on pacing with the forerunner 110. the trick with it for me is to make sure I don't check pace anymore than 1/5th mile intervals and ignore the first quarter mile all together.

    It felt great to get out on the trails. My longest run since the hip injury-- felt good. Could have gone longer but am trying to be smart...for once :)

    Nice to get in a few miles before Kelley's wedding. This place has really been improved since I've been on it last-- some nice boardwalks through the marshes and a cool reflection trail.
