I am following the www.running.about.com half marathon walk/run program (12 weeks).
2% incline:
5 minute warmup @ 3mph
walk 1 min @ 3mph/ run 2 min @ 5mph
5 minute cooldown @ 3 mph

Well I just got my first road bike a couple of weeks ago and I'm looking into going into triathlons too. The only part that really worries me is the swim. Good luck!
