    First run of the year, and I did it barefoot. The crazy thing is, no knee pain, so this tells me that it's my shoes causing my problem. Looks like 2012 is going to be my barefoot year.

      Just because you didn't have knee pain running narefoot, doesn't necessarily mean running with shoes causes your knee pain. So many people really believe the barefoot running thing is 'the answer' but I'm far from a believer. Maybe a lower heel is helping you. You can get that with shoes, too.

    Never did post this up on Dailymile so I figured I should just for record keeping :) It was a great race, I beat my last year's time by :15 and my knees are still feeling it!
