Running to work with a cold is no fun, but after two weeks of little time on my feet, it was a pleasant change. The Fall colors are vibrant now. The red maples appearing almost alien in nature with lavenders fading into reds. It really was a tough run, but I felt better for doing it. Have you ever noticed that you can be completely stuffed-up when you start the run, but breathing freely at the end? I love the human body's ability to adapt.
