    Last night, I jumped in the pool and swam circles with the kickboard trying to loosen up my knees. Each lap of the pool was about 20 yds, so there were lots of turns. :)

      I did go with the correct clothing, but it turned out to be sweaty and wet and not quite warm enough. I made it to the bus stop and realized my wallet was still on the night stand. With no money, no bus pass, and no desire to ride back, I pushed on and borrowed $3 from a co-worker for the bus ride home. :-P

      I find myself being far more cognizant of footfalls, trying to be quiet rather than loudly slapping my feet to the asphalt, landing mid-foot to fore-foot. You quickly adjust from heel striking due to the jarring nature hitting your heel to hard surfaces.

      That work moves to your calves, hamstrings, and glutes, which is where I'd rather have the stress absorbed.
