@Nicole - He'll do fine. He's got the gift of running, he'll be fine. AND he doesn't know that that racing HIGH will be in him ;) I'm pretty positive that despite this slack training he'll be finishing with you all :)

Beautiful day. Met Paul Radcliffe en route. Glad I don't have to do all those hills twice on race day. Kept a rough 10-11 min pace for 11 miles and the last mile it was round 8:40 so i could... read more

I think I saw you! Now I can't remember where, maybe as I was coming up Northshore to Plains you were going the other direction? I wasn't sure if it was you and I was getting to the end of my run and too out of it to think of anything good to yell :)

Nice job getting it done, even if it wasn't the best run. 16 miles is a lot, and just check out how long you were running for! Impressive!

Amazing work under super tough conditions for sure! The fact that you finished says a lot about you for sure. Offer is still open to run ATB together (with Wayne who is almost as quiet as you.).

Ugh, that's called TOPF (top of foot pain) and some people get it! I had it once and added a triangular wad of tissue under the lining of my shoe to support the arch of my foot, and it went away, but I don't know if that will help you.

Haha crapmill.. definitely agree with that! I've had foot pain, you could get some arnica gel and put it on your foot. It helps, and maybe epsom salt baths. Usually pain on the top of your foot is overuse injury.

Ya I'm not the smartest runner. Could gave easily busted an ankle today. Even tho I have only run 4 times with people I could have used it today. Too bad Alison in suffering with injuries.

I think you learned caution and wariness and practiced skills in not falling etc. and any run where you come home uninjured is a good run. Too bad about Alison though. She really needs to take care of that leg.
