Paddle boarding along the coast 4 mi

Lindsey and I rented paddle boards, which are giant surf boards you stand up on and paddle. It was a lot of fun and we ended up paddling about 4 miles up the coast into Emerald Bay.

It took me a bit, but I learned how to stand up and paddle and then it was easy paddling after that. Lindsey never really got the hang of it until the very end, so she did a kneeling paddle most of the way.

About halfway, a seal popped its head up right by us and actually followed just a few feet back in Lindsey's wake for a few minutes. it was really cool. And then she saw a dolphin fin right next to her and thought it was a shark and we started booking it after that. Ends up we saw those dolphins again later, but it was still scary. We paddled past a outlaying rock that had a big colony of seals (50+) on it. That was really cool, and I was kind of afraid that a loose seal was going to bite my hand off :)
