After getting warmed up the first mile (literally, it was only 49*!!!) I just felt good and went with it. I'll admit I pushed that 3rd mile because I didn't hear my Garmin beep and when I realized I missed it I just went with it. (I walk for 15 seconds every mile marker per doctors orders) I thought and felt like I had slowed right back down to an easy effort after that but after looking at the stats notquitesomuch. Whoops. :) Guess I ran a bit of a progression run. I'll definitely take it but I gotta make sure I keep it steady the next time I head out cuz Coach is def going to wag the finger at me for this one. Either way, I'm so happy to have run 5 miles! I seriously never thought I could be this happy to run 5 miles ever! LOL!
