      Your a more accomplished runner than me and I'm not sure if this was your A race or not, but I can't help but notice your taper was on the short end.

      Interesting thought. I was wondering the same thing but I have had such mixed results with tapering. Long tapers vs basically no tapers at all. Always feels like a coin toss on how I'm going to feel on race day. Some of my best workouts come when I should feel absolutely trashed...same with my races. I just can't figure it out.
