Took a walk with my mother, both to connect with her and to encourage her to get back to exercising daily. She is such a strong 75-year old but the dual illnesses of my father and her brother have derailed her daily exercise. I had to slow her down to allow me to catch my breath (altitude problems) so she is clearly still very strong.
It is still very surprising to me that my heart rate stays low even though I am huffing and puffing here in Denver.
