Still taking PT very conservatively since my knee pain hasn't made much progress. Maaaaybe, possibly it felt a tiny bit better today? I don't even know. In the end it's still fairly sore by the end of the day. I'm thinking it's time to invest in a knee brace or two (suggestions?).
Anyway, did my usual leg exercises (bridges with med ball, extensions with resistance band 4 ways, bird dogs) then went to the gym to sneak in a VERY quick upper body workout. I don't normally rest long between sets or exercises, but I had to cut the rest super duper short for time reasons. The no-rest and no lunch before this made it stupidly hard. I struggled a lot on my pull ups (and uh, everything really) :/ hopefully tomorrow is better!
2x12 push ups
8/8/4/4 ---> pull ups/chin ups*/chin ups*/pull ups
2x10 push ups
...and then I ran out of time!
On the pull ups/chin ups I used 64 lbs counterweight. The "chin ups" were really done with my thumb pointing at my face, palms facing in at each other... not classic chin up form, but I have yet to find an assisted machine that will fit me for that grip. On the dips I used 34 lb counterweight.
The one exciting bit of news is that my swimsuits/goggles/swim caps arrived today! Miraculously both suits fit :D I won't have a chance to check out the pool situation until next week. Then if all goes well, I can finallyinsole me solid cardio in despite this knee crap that's going on. Woo!
