      Manage your pace, your controlled 6 will still be ahead of most of the runners who are just pushing 6 and quiting. I am also debating a run this weekend with one of my new running partners plus I may run a half marathon on the 20th.

      I think I am shooting for a 3:29 (8 min avg pace) for the whole thing but the first 6 miles will be at a 6:30 pace. I have no idea if I am capable of that.
