Thanks Rob, you too! I've been running quite a bit since surgery (last October) but I've been slacking on logging my mileage on here. School is trying to drown me these days!!!
I'm sure the hip is fine, it's nice to have an available and brilliant PT to look after me :)

  5. RUN
good Discovery Trail 2 mi 00:28 14:00 pace

Slow and steady (as my post hip surgery dictates I keep it!) I'd rather be running pain free than fast and injured the next day ;)

Thanks Rina! My plan is to do a lot of core strengthening, as well as a boot camp run by my PT. If I can begin running again by the first of the year, it will be miraculous. It's been four weeks today since surgery :)

Thanks guys, I'm hanging in there, and hopefully on I'm on the road to running. I have a tear in my hip capsule, and I'll be getting an injection next week. That injection will hopefully relieve some pain and I can dig into physical therapy. It's just LOVELY that all this is happening five days before school starts. AAAARGH!!!!

I always think of gumption/positivity as half the battle where long-term running is concerned. Your setback is temporary but the determination you gain from it will only make you stronger. Happy healing and mad upper body workouts!
