      Yikes, what was the course like? Lots of hills? Trails? I have totally done a half like that...won't do it again! Congrats on pushing through and finishing!

      I struggle with my IT bands too, foam rolling is excruciating! I always end up bruised and then can't do it again for 2 weeks til my bruise heals! Good work today!!

      I found a video on YouTube months ago, it's a series of exercises to strengthen the IT band. It's been very helpful. If you search 'ITBS exercises' on YouTube, it should be the first video that pops up. It's from a website called StrengthRunning.com, so you can go there and find it too! Hope it helps!
