  1. RUN
    good Auburn 6 mi

    Really fun time running with A, L, C, H, Tr, R, and P. Followed by beer/wine.

  2. FIT
    great Gym 01:10

Full body. Found machine where I can do squats variation that I also feel in my quads. Problem with barbell was that I could squat more than I could lift over my head.

  3. RUN
great Should have worn a tank top! 4 mi 00:41 10:13 pace

It was odd to feel my earphone cord hitting my bare legs (in skirt). So beautiful today! Shoulders are sore from yesterday.

  4. VELO
    good Recovery bike 00:20

So helpful to my tired legs!

  5. RUN
    good Lakeland Hills 10.58 mi

Great run with A, C, and S. Weirdly warm out, and two bathroom emergencies. Somehow our talk always turns to food in the final mile or so.

  6. FIT
    good Full body 01:00

Phew. Quivery, yet I sort of felt like a short run after. I was out of time though.

  7. RUN
    good Neighborhood 4.02 mi 00:42 10:27 pace

Hamstring only slightly whiny. Cold today!

  8. FIT
    great Full body

Did everything the trainer showed me and timed it. Came out to just over an hour. I probably don't need to do everything every time, but I like to do it all when I can, especially since I am a... read more

  9. RUN
good Whiny left hamstring 4 mi

Slow start due to left hamstring, but it improved somewhat as the run progressed. Kept it slow until the end. The hamstring started bothering me after one of last week's runs, and seemed to im... read more

  10. FIT
    good Arms and core

Decided not to do legs, since I ran 10 yesterday and it was tough. Super fun at the gym today, with everyone in Seahawks gear. Upped my weights in a couple of exercises, per the guidelines the trai... read more

  11. VELO
    good Recovery bike

The gym is the place to be first thing in the morning on game day. Crowded but festive, with multiple pre-game shows on TV. Followed this with some weights (separate post).

  12. RUN
good Need new rain jacket! 10 mi 01:50 10:58 pace

So my new Nike jacket can only handle light rain, and my old Brooks jacket no longer keeps me dry. I was freezing, and the jacket was suctioned to my person. Recommendations, anyone?

  13. FIT
    good Weights--a PR of sorts

Full body. First time in my life I've lifted weights three times in one week. I don't know if I can continue this each week, as I need to fit in runs and at least one rest day, but I am k... read more

  14. RUN
    good Foggy 3 mi 00:29 09:48 pace

After a 10:14 first mile, decided to see if I could bring the overall average to below 10. Per Runkeeper (Soleus out of battery), I ran 9:33 and 9:38 miles after that so yes, I could. Must remember... read more

  15. FIT
good Arms and abs at home 00:40

Remembered to time it this time. Called it enough when my upper body got all quivery. Also, I found one way to reward myself while doing weights--listen to music in BOTH ears, which I never do on o... read more

  16. RUN
great Sunshine and short sleeves! 4 mi

Trying to ward off the soreness that I know is waiting for me after yesterday's weights.

  17. FIT
    good Weights

Was in NO mood to go to gym, but knew I would feel better once I was there. I ran through everything trainer showed me, including all squat and plank variations. I am going to be so sore, I never s... read more

  18. RUN
great So grateful 6 mi 01:03 10:30 pace

This run felt so strong, probably from the relief that a health scare last night for a loved one was less serious than feared.

  19. FIT
    good Gentle Yoga class 01:00

I suck at yoga, but this was a great way to ease back into it. Felt great on my sore muscles, and it should help with balance and flexibility (totally lacking the latter).
